What is CVE-2024-58304?
The SPA-CART CMS version 1.9.0.3 is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability within the product description field. Authenticated administrators can unknowingly expose themselves to attacks by allowing the injection of malicious JavaScript through the 'descr' parameter in the product edit interface. This exploitation leads to the potential execution of arbitrary code in the browsers of administrative users, compromising the security of the system.
