What is CVE-2024-5888?

A stored Cross-site Scripting vulnerability exists in ArcGIS Server versions 10.9.1 through 11.3 that enables a remote authenticated attacker to craft a stored link. When this link is accessed by a victim, it may execute arbitrary JavaScript code within the user's browser context. The attack requires high-level privileges, specifically publisher capabilities, to successfully deploy. While the vulnerability poses low risks to confidentiality and integrity, it does not affect overall system availability.
