What is CVE-2024-7244?
A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in Panda Security Dome’s VPN process due to improper DLL search path restrictions. Attackers who have already gained access to execute low-privileged code can exploit this flaw to load a malicious DLL. This can lead to an escalation of privileges, allowing the execution of arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level rights, thereby compromising the integrity and security of the system.
