7.5HIGH
What is CVE-2024-7765?
In the h2oai/h2o-3 product version 3.46.0.2, a flaw exists that allows an attacker to cause a denial of service by uploading and repeatedly parsing a large GZIP file. The improper handling of highly compressed data can lead to memory exhaustion on the server, rendering it unresponsive. This scenario occurs due to the amplification of data that results in a large number of concurrent slow-running jobs, significantly impacting the server's performance.
