What is CVE-2024-8551?

A significant path traversal vulnerability is present in the save-workflow and load-workflow functionalities of ModelScope Agentscope. This flaw allows attackers to manipulate file paths, granting them unauthorized access to read and write arbitrary JSON files on the server's filesystem. If exploited, this could lead to the exposure or tampering of sensitive information, including configuration files, API keys, and hardcoded passwords, jeopardizing overall system security and data integrity.
