What is CVE-2024-8588?
A vulnerability exists within Autodesk AutoCAD that affects how the software parses SLDPRT files via the odxsw_dll.dll. If a maliciously crafted SLDPRT file is processed, it can trigger an Out-of-Bounds Read condition. This vulnerability may allow attackers to cause application crashes, expose sensitive information, or execute unauthorized code within the environment of the affected process, compromising the integrity and confidentiality of system resources.
