What is CVE-2024-9256?

An information disclosure vulnerability exists in Foxit PDF Reader related to the handling of AcroForms. Attackers can exploit this flaw by persuading users to open a malicious PDF file or visit an infected web page. The vulnerability emerges from inadequate validation of user-supplied input, permitting unauthorized read operations beyond the allocated buffer limits.
