What is CVE-2025-10149?

The WSO2 Identity Server's SCIM endpoint is vulnerable due to insufficient validation of authorization for federated users. When local and federated users have identical usernames, a federated user can exploit this flaw to execute operations on local user accounts, potentially leading to unauthorized access and actions. This vulnerability primarily affects deployments without user self-registration capabilities, as it allows a malicious actor to manipulate local user accounts through valid federated user sessions.
