What is CVE-2025-11395?

A security flaw exists in Podman that permits an attacker to exploit the podman load command by supplying a specially crafted tar archive. This can result in unauthorized file creation on the host machine, executed with the privileges of the user running Podman. As such, it poses a significant risk to the integrity of the system and can lead to further exploitation if left unaddressed.
