What is CVE-2025-11429?

A vulnerability in Keycloak's session management allows existing user sessions to retain extended lifetimes even after the 'Remember Me' setting has been disabled by an administrator. This occurs because the session expiration logic improperly relies on a local session flag without re-evaluating the current realm configuration. As a result, this flaw creates an increased risk for session hijacking and unauthorized long-term access.
