What is CVE-2025-11939?

A vulnerability exists in the ChurchCRM Backup Restore Handler up to version 5.18.0, specifically in the file src/ChurchCRM/Backup/RestoreJob.php. This flaw allows for path traversal through manipulation of the argument restoreFile. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability remotely, potentially accessing sensitive files on the server. The exploit is publicly known, and despite attempts to notify the vendor, there has been no response.
