What is CVE-2025-12205?

A vulnerability in Kamailio SIP Server version 5.5 has been identified, affecting the Configuration File Handler's function sr_push_yy_state found in src/core/cfg.lex. This flaw allows attackers, when operating from a local position, to manipulate memory and potentially execute unintended code due to use after free conditions. Notably, the vulnerability is now public, and while the vendor was notified early, there has been no response regarding mitigation or patches.
