Improper Connection Request Handling in Zephyr RTOS by Zephyr Project
CVE-2025-12890
6.5MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-12890?
A vulnerability in Zephyr RTOS allows for improper handling of malformed connection requests. Specifically, when the interval is mistakenly set to 1—a value which is deemed illegal—and the chM is set to 0x7CFFFFFFFF, this leads to a crash. As a result, the peripheral will become non-connectable after such a malformed request is attempted. It is crucial to address this issue to maintain the integrity and availability of services reliant on the affected software.
