What is CVE-2025-1403?

The Qiskit SDK versions 0.45.0 through 1.2.4 have a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service by sending a malicious QPY file. This file contains a malformed serialization stream related to the symengine library, which results in a segmentation fault and disrupts normal operations.
