What is CVE-2025-15257?

A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the web-based configuration interface of the Edimax BR-6208AC router. The flaw resides in the 'formRoute' function of the '/gogorm/formRoute' file, where manipulation of the input parameters (strIp/strMask/strGateway) can allow attackers to execute arbitrary commands remotely. As Edimax has declared this device as End of Life (EOL), it will no longer receive support or security updates. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to a newer model to mitigate the risks associated with this vulnerability.
