What is CVE-2025-15413?

The wasm3 WebAssembly interpreter is impacted by a memory corruption vulnerability in the functions op_SetSlot_i32 and op_CallIndirect, as defined in m3_exec.h. An attacker with local access can manipulate these functions leading to potential memory corruption. This vulnerability has been publicly disclosed, and exploits are available. Currently, the wasm3 project lacks an active maintainer, which may hinder timely remediation.
