What is CVE-2025-20139?
A vulnerability exists in the chat messaging features of Cisco Enterprise Chat and Email (ECE) that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to exploit system weaknesses. This vulnerability arises from improper validation of user input in chat entry points. An attacker could send malicious requests to the messaging application, leading to a denial of service (DoS) condition. If successfully exploited, this could cause the application to become unresponsive, requiring manual intervention by an administrator to restore proper functionality.
