What is CVE-2025-20176?
A vulnerability exists in the SNMP subsystem of Cisco IOS and Cisco IOS XE Software that could permit a remote, authenticated attacker to initiate a denial of service (DoS) on the affected device. This issue arises from improper error handling during the parsing of SNMP requests. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted SNMP request, resulting in an unexpected device reload and subsequent DoS.
