What is CVE-2025-20217?

A flaw in the packet inspection feature of Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense Software allows remote, unauthenticated attackers to trigger a denial of service (DoS). This vulnerability arises from improper traffic processing, where specially crafted packets can exploit the system, leading it into an infinite loop while inspecting traffic.
