What is CVE-2025-20219?

The vulnerability arises from the inadequate enforcement of access control rules for loopback interfaces in Cisco Secure Firewall ASA and FTD Software. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this flaw to send unauthorized traffic that should typically be blocked. This could enable the attacker to infect or manipulate network conditions by accessing restricted communication paths, thereby compromising the security posture of the affected Cisco devices.
