What is CVE-2025-20261?
A vulnerability exists in the SSH connection handling of Cisco Integrated Management Controller (IMC) for various UCS Server Series. This flaw allows an authenticated remote attacker to exploit insufficient access restrictions, potentially gaining elevated privileges and accessing internal services. By using specifically crafted syntax during an SSH connection, an attacker with valid credentials could manipulate the device, leading to unauthorized modifications, including the creation of new administrator accounts.
