What is CVE-2025-20384?
In Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud, an unauthenticated attacker can exploit improper validation at the /en-US/static/ web endpoint to inject ANSI escape codes into log files. This vulnerability can lead to the poisoning, forging, or obfuscation of sensitive log data through specially crafted HTTP requests, severely impacting the integrity of logs and undermining detection capabilities.
