What is CVE-2025-20952?

An improper access control vulnerability in Mdecservice enables local attackers to gain unauthorized access to arbitrary files with system-level privileges. This flaw exists in versions of Mdecservice released prior to the Samsung Mobile Security Release (SMR) for April 2025, exposing sensitive data and potentially compromising system integrity.
