Summary

A cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been discovered in MRCMS version 3.1.2. This flaw exists in the file upload function located at /admin/file/upload.do within the org.marker.mushroom.controller.FileController component. The vulnerability arises from improper validation of the 'path' argument, allowing an attacker to execute malicious scripts remotely. This exploit has been publicly disclosed and can easily be exploited if adequate security measures are not in place. Efforts to contact the vendor regarding this issue have gone unanswered.
