User Account Compromise in NamelessMC Website Software for Minecraft
CVE-2025-22144
What is CVE-2025-22144?
NamelessMC, a popular web software for managing Minecraft servers, is susceptible to a vulnerability that allows attackers to reset user passwords. Users with specific admin permissions can validate accounts, but the reset process may lead to security loopholes. When an account is manually validated, the reset code becomes empty instead of NULL, allowing malicious individuals to exploit this behavior. Attackers can send a password reset request and gain unauthorized access to users' accounts. This issue has been fixed in version 2.1.3, and affected users are strongly urged to update their software immediately, as no workarounds are available.
