What is CVE-2025-2286?
A local code execution vulnerability has been identified in Rockwell Automation Arena® due to an uninitialized pointer resulting from inadequate validation of user-supplied input. If successfully exploited, this security flaw allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the system, potentially disclosing sensitive information and executing arbitrary code. Exploitation requires that a legitimate user unknowingly opens a specially crafted malicious DOE file, which poses a significant risk to organization integrity and data confidentiality.
