What is CVE-2025-22920?

A heap buffer overflow vulnerability in FFmpeg versions prior to commit 4bf784c enables attackers to exploit memory corruption by supplying specially crafted media files during tile grid group stream processing in avformat. This can ultimately result in Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, impacting the availability and functionality of the affected system.
