What is CVE-2025-25206?

eLabFTW, an open-source electronic lab notebook, is vulnerable to an input validation flaw that could allow an authenticated user to access sensitive information stored within the database. This includes login tokens and other private data. If cookies are enabled, this vulnerability could lead to privilege escalation, placing sensitive research data at risk. Users are strongly advised to update to eLabFTW version 5.1.15 immediately, as no effective workarounds exist for this issue.
