What is CVE-2025-2527?
A significant access control vulnerability exists in Mattermost versions 10.5.x (up to and including 10.5.2) and 9.11.x (up to and including 9.11.11). This issue arises from the application's failure to adequately verify user permissions when attempting to access group information via the API. As a result, attackers can exploit this flaw to retrieve sensitive group details without the necessary permissions, potentially leading to unauthorized information exposure and privacy violations.
