What is CVE-2025-26787?

A logic error in the Keyfactor SignServer's container startup process allows for inadequate certificate access control. Specifically, prior to version 7.2, the Admin CLI command intended to configure certificate access was mistakenly executed at every container restart, rather than just on the initial startup. This flaw resets the access configuration to 'allowany', permitting any user with a valid client authentication certificate to gain access. Although administrators can then impose stricter restrictions, this misconfiguration exposes the system to potential unauthorized access at every restart.
