What is CVE-2025-27089?
A security issue in Directus allows users to update unintended fields due to overlapping permission policies for the 'update' action. This misconfiguration permits broader access than intended, enabling updates to potentially sensitive fields such as passwords. The vulnerability arises when more than one permission policy applies to an item, allowing users to exploit the union of these permissions. The flaw has been rectified in version 11.1.2, and users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to safeguard against unauthorized access.
