What is CVE-2025-27098?

A vulnerability in GraphQL Mesh's static file handler could allow unauthorized access to sensitive files within the server's file system. When the staticFiles configuration option is enabled, the handler fails to verify if the absolutePath remains within the designated directory. This misconfiguration could lead to exposure of sensitive files to any client. To remediate this issue, users are advised to update their dependencies or to eliminate the staticFiles configuration option and utilize alternative methods for serving static content.
