What is CVE-2025-27156?

The Tuleap software management suite contains a vulnerability in its mass emailing functionality, where the HTML content of emails is not properly sanitized. This oversight allows a malicious user to craft HTML emails containing harmful links or scripts, which can facilitate phishing attempts or exploit vulnerabilities in the email clients used by recipients. Users are advised to update to the latest versions of Tuleap Community Edition and Enterprise Edition to mitigate this risk.
