Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 24.001.30225, 20.005.30748, 25.001.20428 and earlier are susceptible to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability, which occurs when parsing specifically crafted files. This flaw allows an attacker to read beyond allocated memory boundaries, potentially leading to unintended code execution in the context of the user who opened the malicious file. Successful exploitation requires user interaction, as the victim must open the specially designed file.
