What is CVE-2025-27379?

A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the BOM Viewer of Altium AES 7.0.3. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to embed arbitrary JavaScript code within the Description field of a schematic. Consequently, the injected script is executed when the BOM Viewer processes the affected content, potentially exposing user data and compromising application integrity. Users are advised to review security practices and update their software as per security advisories.
