What is CVE-2025-27540?
A vulnerability exists in TeleControl Server Basic that allows for SQL injection through the 'Authenticate' method. Unauthenticated remote attackers can exploit this flaw to bypass authorization controls, potentially gaining access to the application's database. This access enables them to read and modify data and execute arbitrary code with elevated permissions associated with 'NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService'. To successfully launch an attack, the attacker must access port 8000 on a system running a susceptible version of TeleControl Server Basic.
