What is CVE-2025-27598?

An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability exists in the ImageSharp gif decoder that can be exploited by attackers using specially crafted GIF files. This flaw could potentially lead to a denial of service, causing the application to crash. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest versions, v3.1.7 or v2.1.10, where this vulnerability has been effectively addressed.
