What is CVE-2025-27793?
In versions prior to 5.32.0 of the Vega visualization framework and prior to 5.17.0 of Vega-functions, users could inadvertently execute arbitrary JavaScript code through Vega/Vega-lite JSON definitions when rendering graphs. This risk arises unless the library is utilized with the vega-interpreter. To mitigate this vulnerability, users are encouraged to update to the latest versions or utilize Vega with expression interpreter as a workaround.
