A local code execution vulnerability in Rockwell Automation Arena® arises from improper validation of user-supplied data, allowing a threat actor to write outside the allocated memory buffer. If a legitimate user opens a malicious DOE file, this flaw can be exploited to execute arbitrary code on the system, potentially disclosing sensitive information.
