What is CVE-2025-2877?

A serious flaw exists within the Event-Driven Ansible component of the Ansible Automation Platform, where, under configurations that enable 'debug' verbosity, sensitive inventory passwords are displayed in plain text during rulebook activation. This issue occurs for any actions marked as 'debug' within a rulebook and also impacts Event Streams, potentially compromising sensitive information during automated processes.
