What is CVE-2025-29217?

The Tenda W18E wireless router version 2.0 v16.01.0.11 has been found to have a stack overflow vulnerability affecting the wifiSSID parameter in the /goform/setModules endpoint. This flaw enables attackers to exploit the vulnerability by sending specially crafted POST requests, potentially resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) condition, which disrupts access to network services and affects normal router operations.
