Access Control Weakness in XWiki Platform Affects Multiple Versions
CVE-2025-29925
What is CVE-2025-29925?
Prior to the releases of XWiki 15.10.14, 16.4.6, and 16.10.0-rc-1, an access control issue was identified in the XWiki Platform where protected pages were listed in REST API responses even for users lacking view rights. This flaw could expose sensitive content if the entire wiki was configured to restrict visibility, allowing page names to be visible despite security measures. The issue has been rectified in the specified versions by implementing proper filtering of results based on access rights.
