What is CVE-2025-30008?

Hestia Control Panel versions prior to 1.9.5 contain a stored cross-site scripting flaw that permits authenticated low-privilege users to inject arbitrary HTML tags into a DNS record. This is accomplished by entering a double-quote followed by a script payload in the DNS record's value field. The application does not adequately encode the value displayed in the list_dns_rec.php file, allowing the injected script to execute in the browsers of other users, including those with administrative privileges, potentially escalating security threats.
