Session Management Flaw in Popular Authentication Framework by Vendor X
CVE-2025-30064
8.8HIGH
What is CVE-2025-30064?
An internal function within Vendor X's authentication framework is improperly secured, enabling session generation for arbitrary users. The decodeParam function validates the JSON Web Token (JWT) but neglects to confirm the signing algorithm used. Consequently, an attacker may exploit the 'ex:action' parameter in the VerifyUserByThrustedService function to create a session for any user, posing significant security threats and potential data breaches.
