What is CVE-2025-30132?

Researchers have identified a security concern in IROAD Dashcam V devices due to their reliance on an unregistered public domain name as an internal domain. This configuration presents a significant risk, as attackers can register the domain that is not owned by IROAD, allowing them to potentially intercept sensitive traffic intended for the dashcam. If the device or its services attempt to resolve this domain via the public Internet rather than using a secure local resolution, it opens the door to data exfiltration and man-in-the-middle attacks, compromising user privacy and data integrity.
