Symlink Vulnerability in AWS Serverless Application Model CLI Allowing File Access
CVE-2025-3047
What is CVE-2025-3047?
A security vulnerability exists in the AWS Serverless Application Model Command Line Interface (SAM CLI) when utilizing Docker for the build process that involves symbolic links. This flaw allows unauthorized users to exploit elevated permissions granted by the tool, granting them access to sensitive host files.
