The Configurator Theme Core plugin for WordPress suffers from a privilege escalation vulnerability, where it fails to properly validate user metadata before database updates. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to escalate their privileges to that of an Administrator, potentially giving them full control over the WordPress site.
