What is CVE-2025-31117?
An Out-of-Band Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was discovered in OpenEMR, an open-source electronic health records platform. This flaw enables an attacker to manipulate the server into making unauthorized requests to either internal or external resources without returning a direct response. It poses significant risks as it can be exploited via DNS or HTTP interactions, potentially leading to the exfiltration of sensitive data. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 7.0.3.1.
