What is CVE-2025-31127?

In the Element X Android client versions from 0.4.16 to 25.03.3, a security flaw allows an attacker controlling the element.json well-known file to potentially access sensitive media encryption keys used during Element Call calls. This vulnerability poses significant risks regarding user privacy and data integrity. Users are encouraged to update to version 25.03.4 or later to mitigate this risk.
