What is CVE-2025-3124?

A missing authorization vulnerability was discovered in GitHub Enterprise Server, allowing unauthorized users to view the names of private repositories in the Security Overview section of GitHub Advanced Security. This occurred due to insufficient access controls on the archived: filter, while other access restrictions functioned correctly. The issue affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.17 and was addressed in subsequent releases, including 3.13.14, 3.14.11, 3.15.6, and 3.16.2.
